2026 Albany County CattleWoman Outstanding Ranch Woman

We would like to congratulate Tammy Kennedy as the Albany County CattleWoman Outstanding Ranch Woman for 2026!
Tammy and her husband Craig have spent the last 45 years on the third generation of the Vale Ranch. She and Craig have raised three sons, and she is now Grammy to seven grandkids. Tammy does the usual jobs with working cattle,
and enjoys baking, gardening, raising chickens, wine making, and making beautiful quilts. Besides operating tractors and other ranch equipment, she has learned to master driving heavy equipment such as scrapers and bulldozers. She is also a licensed demolitions expert. She is an enthusiastic bear hunter with a Boone and Crockett record to her name. Tammy also has an interest in history and has attended events related to Plains Indian Culture. She is a true steward of the land, a mentor to the next generation, and a true representative of strength of the modern woman.
